THE STRATEGIC AUDIT

Your roadmap to more effective (and less overwhelming!) marketing

Clarity on what's working, where there are opportunities to improve, and what to do next in your marketing starts here.

So… you’ve probably been told a lot of things about what it takes to market your business.

You know the ones: Post more. No, not like that, just reels! Be vulnerable. Be professional. Show your face. Automate everything. Be on every platform. Go all in on just one platform.

All the contradictory advice out there can send people in completely different directions.

Maybe you've been trying to keep up in fits and starts, tackling one platform here and there when you have time. Maybe the overwhelm means you freeze and end up not showing up much at all. Or maybe you’ve relied on word of mouth until now  (which still counts as marketing, by the way!) but you know it’s probably time to add in some more intentional visibility strategies, too.

The thing is, though, amidst all of the marketing “shoulds” out there, making you feel like you "should" be further along or you "should" have it all figured out like the others, nobody's helping you ask the most important question:

What do you actually need your marketing to do for you?

REALITY CHECK:

Strategic marketing (aka the kind that you can sustainably stick with, and that gets results!) doesn’t start with one-size-fits-all tactics, trends, or even tools.

Instead, it flows from an understanding of where you are right now, where you’re trying to go, and how to close that gap in a way that’s actually aligned with your business and your goals.

And that’s why an Audit is the ideal starting point.

When you’re feeling unclear about steps to take, you don’t want generic advice. You want a map, marked with the route from where you are to where you’re headed.

That’s what the Audit is for your business!

You might have been taught to focus on content, trends, or ads, without first being able to zoom out and figure out what’s working, what’s missing, and what your specific business actually needs to grow.

  • Would your business really benefit from a larger social media following?

  • Does it make sense to put lots of effort into ads right now, or would it have a bigger payoff if you optimized your website first?

  • Would it be most effective to nurture relationships with repeat buyers rather than endlessly expanding your audience?

N THE AUDIT, WE ANSWER ALL OF THESE QUESTIONS AND MORE.

We connect the dots between all the pieces of your marketing, from your website to your emails, social, offers, systems, even the marketing you’re doing offline, and map the route between where you are and your actual goals

With all of this info, you’ll know what’s working well (and why), what could be working better (and how to optimize it), and what to do next (and in what order!).

This often includes things like:

Learning how to use that beautiful branding you invested in on social, in emails, in your signage… basically everywhere out in the wild!

Discovering which platform (like your email marketing) brings in the most sales for you, and learning how to use your software effectively, without the tech overwhelm

Understanding that marketing is a whole ecosystem (not just social, or your website, or ads), and seeing how small action steps in one area can help everything else work better, too

Seeing where people are dropping off on your website, and knowing exactly what to fix so they stick around

Spotting gaps in your sales systems and customer journeys, and adding simple next steps that increase repeat business and referrals

Realizing that return clients want to keep buying from you, and dialing in how to stay top of mind for them

To be super clear—this kind of audit isn’t about looking backward with a red pen. Yes, we dig into past data, but only so we can build a clear, actionable path forward

You’ll get insight and strategy for the future: what’s working, what’s ready for a refresh, and what steps to take to get more momentum going.

In other words, I’m not handing over a report full of problems. It’s a strategic plan driven by what’s possible from here on out.

How Your Audit Works + What’s Included

FIRST UP: WHERE ARE YOU NOW?

Data + Discovery

We start by taking inventory of what you’re already doing (probably more than you think!), how it’s performing, and how it all fits together. This phase is all about finding your current baseline.

This phase includes:

  • A review of your current marketing ecosystem, whatever it includes: website, email, social, ads, print, and more

  • Key metrics for each channel, like traffic, bounce rates, open and click rates, reach + engagement, and more

  • Keyword and visibility data from your website and social profiles

  • Competitor comparison to spot gaps and opportunities

(And don’t worry if you’re not a “numbers person”! I translate what it all means for you later on.

NEXT UP: WHAT’S WORKING, AND WHAT COULD BE IMPROVED

The ACCN Framework

Now that we have some baseline information about your marketing, it’s time to analyze it! I’ll walk you through an analysis of your brand ecosystem through the four key lenses of my ACCN Framework:

A Attract:

We’ll uncover how discoverable you are right now and show you how to bring in more of the right people through SEO, keywords, platform setup, and visibility tweaks that don’t require you to post constantly.

C Connect:

This is all about how you’re sparking conversation and building trust. We dig into your messaging, visual consistency, content mix, email strategy, and more, all with the goal of helping your audience “get it” and want to stick around!

C Convert:

We’ll check out how you’re turning attention into action. By looking into your customer journey, how your leads are flowing, and your overall sales systems, we can smooth out any points of friction to make it easier to buy from you.

N Nurture:

We’ll explore how you’re staying in touch after the sale, or how you could be. From newsletters to client experience to in-person relationships, this one’s all about building long-term connections that support future growth.

WRAPPING IT UP: WHAT’S NEXT?

Your Action Plan

I wrap your Audit up into a custom, no-overwhelm roadmap that makes your next steps feel simple, doable, and grounded.

You’ll receive:

  • A detailed PDF that includes all of your data and recommendations (with screenshots, examples, mockups, and more!)

  • A marketing roadmap with Phase 1 recommendations (think simple, quick wins for immediate impact) and Phase 2 steps (longer-term focus)

  • A video walkthrough (and an optional follow-up call) to make sure everything makes sense and to walk you through how to put your marketing roadmap into action

I’ll also follow up post-project to answer any lingering questions and help you stay on track!

Rest assured, you’re not left staring at a 40-page document wondering what to do. You’ll come away with clarity, confidence, and a practical way to move forward, whether you do it yourself, delegate it, or want my support implementing it..

The Investment & Timeline

Starting at

$2800

Timeline is 3-4 weeks, depending on how many marketing channels are part of your Audit.

Have questions? I’ve got answers!

Everything you might be wondering about the Audit process

  • Yes, because the channels we cover are totally custom to your business!

The Audit looks at your full marketing ecosystem with whatever that includes for you, like your website (including core SEO principles), social media, email marketing, ads, branding, and offline/in-person marketing efforts.

(If there are channels you don’t use or you don’t use yet, I’ll include recommendations for those in your Roadmap.)

  • This is a great fit for creatives, small business owners, and founder-led brands who already have offers in motion and want their marketing to catch up, feel better, or work more strategically.

Whether you’re a service provider, educator, creative, or multi-channel brand, the Audit adapts to your specific needs.

  • You’ll receive:

    • A detailed PDF Audit with summaries for each platform/channel (and what it all means)

    • A prioritized and actionable roadmap with Phase 1 and Phase 2 action steps (including quick wins and longer-term suggestions)

    • A Loom video walkthrough (and an optional call) so you’re never left wondering what anything means

    • Follow-up support

  • The full Audit typically takes 3-4 weeks from kickoff. You’ll fill out a short questionnaire and we’ll have an onboarding call to get started and share any needed access (like social accounts, email platforms, etc).

From there, I’ll dive in and keep you posted along the way.

  • Chances are good that you’re doing more than you realize, so, yes! Plus, a big purpose of the Audit is answering your “how to get there from here” questions.

The goal is to help you understand what’s already working, identify where to focus next, and build a plan that makes sense for your current capacity and goals.

  • Yup, we start with an Audit because it's impossible to create effective marketing without first understanding where you are and where you're trying to go.

The Audit gives us both the baseline we need to make smart recommendations and ensures that any ongoing work we do together is strategic rather than just busy work. Without this foundation, we'd essentially be guessing about what your business needs, and that's not fair to you or your investment.

Once we complete the Audit, we can absolutely continue working together through ongoing marketing and design support. The Audit makes sure that everything we do is targeted and effective.

  • Awesome! And, absolutely. This Audit helps put your brand into action. We’ll check out how you’re currently using your brand assets and identify ways they could be doing even more for you (like implementing your branding into your email templates for more visual consistency, or making sure that your website is technically optimized in addition to looking great).

This process shows you how to actually use your assets in the wild, so your marketing doesn’t just look good, but it works well too.

  • You’ve got options! Whether you want me to handle everything, prefer to stay hands-on with guidance and feedback, or need something in between, we can create a partnership that works for your business.

I’m always happy to chat with you about which options make the most sense for your business, and you don’t have to know or decide before we do the Audit!
